Timmy is a Class One inspected purebred Irish Draught stallion by Gortfree Hero, a Grade A showjumper — Timmy was the first of Gortfree Hero’s progeny in the United States. He was bred by Tony Philips at Bell Tower Stud and imported from Ireland at six months old.
His dam, Beechmore Banrion Milis, was Champion Mare at the 2012 IDHBA Show, Champion Mare of the Future (Ireland) 2012, placed 3rd at the RDS in 2014, and was twice Reserve Champion Mare at the IDHSGB Annual Breed Show.
Timmy is schooling Third Level dressage and has evented. In 2025 he qualified for and competed at the USDF Area 5 Regional Championships at Second Level, and in 2026 he earned his amateur rider her USDF bronze medal. He passes on his bone, feet, and rideability — his naturally uphill, balanced way of going makes him a wonderful cross for both purebred Irish Draught mares and sport mares.
